I am a pretty harsh critic of customer service, and I only think to leave a review if it is a disaster, or extraordinary. My experience with Advance Auto locksmith was extraordinary. I called several locksmiths, and this was not only the lowest quote, but the best receptionist I spoke with. In an effort to save a nickel, I bought my key fob online from someone else. Turns out it was the wrong radio frequency. After a 30 minute programming process, it only partly functioned. Darran took the time to show me what to look for on the FCC ID code so I could get the correct Fob. He declined payment and said we’d take care of it when we got the new fob programmed. He had already cut the key by the way. When I got the right one, he had to do the 30 minute programming process again. He had to do it twice because I had brought him the wrong key, and I don’t think it would have been unfair for him to charge for both times. But he didn’t even seem to consider that. He just wanted to make sure I was happy and everything was working. He earned a lifelong customer. Thanks.
